Hello to our neighbors in Accokeek and the wider Southern Maryland area. We are happy to share a recent project that shows how technology helps our local communities. We worked with the Summerwood Community HOA to build a better digital home for their residents.
Helping Our Community Grow
The Summerwood Community HOA is located in Accokeek, Maryland. They are a dedicated group of neighbors. They recently made a generous donation to the Southern Maryland Tech Movement. This movement helps bring tech skills and tools to our local area. We wanted to help them in return. We provided a secure digital infrastructure to make their work easier.
Secure Infrastructure for Local Governance
The board needed a professional way to manage their tasks. We used enterprise-grade tools to build this. We used AWS Lightsail to host their new website. This provides a fast and reliable connection for everyone. We used WordPress for the web development. This makes it easy for the board to update news.
Tools for Daily Operations
We also moved the HOA to Microsoft Office 365. This includes several important tools for their daily work:
- Microsoft Teams: For board meetings and quick chats.
- Professional Email: To look official when talking to vendors.
- SharePoint: To keep community documents safe and organized.
